What qualifications and training do HireCare carers have?
Hirecare working with CareSkills as our e-learning provider helps us ensure all carers are adequately trained and skilled
Basic Requirements
Essential Training
- All Hirecare carers have a Care Certificate which cover a a set of 15 standards that care workers must complete as part of their induction.
- All Hirecare carers have completed Mandatory Training which includes training in areas such as moving and handling, basic first aid, food hygiene, health and safety, fire safety, infection control, and safeguarding adults.
Advanced Qualifications
- All our Hirecare supervisors have Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- All our Team leads have Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Onsite training is provided to all Hirecare staff to cover:
Our ongoing professional development refresher training to support our staff to stay updated with best practices and regulatory changes.
Our practical skill training includes practical skills such as administering medication, supporting people with disabilities, and helping with daily activities like eating and dressing.
Our Soft skill training covers communication, empathy and problem solving.
How do you ensure client safety and confidentiality?
Hirecare is signed up with Information commission office (ICO) adhering to the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR best practices of personal information with,
- Processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
- Collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes.
- Adequate, relevant, and limited to what’s necessary for the purposes of why it was collected.
